Blonde Redhead have written the score to a documentary called, "Dungeon Masters" which is obviously about the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. The trailer is online and is rather humorous. Stereogum has a preview of the theme song and it sounds very Blonde Redhead-ish.

The documentary was completed back in 2008 and was screened at several festivals last year but it never got a wide theatrical release. It will be available via Amazon's Video on Demand service starting February 12th and you can pre-order it as well.

The Village Voice announced today the details for this year's SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL in New York. The Saturday, July 17 show will feature DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE, BLONDE REDHEAD, HAR MAR SUPERSTAR, TV ON THE RADIO, Constantines, The Fiery Furnaces, The Fever, The Ponys and MANY more bands and DJs that will be announced shortly. The festival will be taking over Coney Island all day, will welcome pop kids of all ages and be totally free (yes, I did say free). Get your tickets now... oh wait, we don't need any! Want your band to play too? You've got until Friday to get a demo in to the powers that be.

The rumor mill has exploded in new info again. It appears that NY indierockers BLONDE REDHEAD have signed a deal with the legendary 4AD Records. Hmm... One-Third Japanese, Two-Thirds Italian... Can I even call them NYers? Well anyway... the sixth album is in the works. Expect an official announcement from the label soon.
