Travis Drummer in Hospital
TRAVIS have cancelled all forthcoming European tour dates, as drummer Neil Primrose is in hospital with a suspected broken vertebrae. Primrose was injured in a pool accident in France, where the band are currently on tour. The official word from the Travis camp: "Whilst relaxing in the pool, Travis drummer Neil Primrose struck his head and was knocked unconscious. After realising his predicament, other band and crew members dragged Neil from the pool and gave him assistance. He was taken by ambulance to the local hospital in Belfort to receive treatment and to undergo tests.

Universal Amphitheater
There just may be no nicer bands on the planet than Travis and Remy Zero, who hosted a packed house at Universal Amphitheater with a warm embrace that Martha Stewart would've been jealous of. The two bands-who've been close friends since first meeting and touring together back in 1999-obviously enjoy each other's company so much that the good feeling just can't help but spill out over the stage and drench the audience. Not that the crowd minded one bit; carried away on a wave of optimism and catchy tunes, a grateful crowd was on its feet and cheering loudly for the majority of each band's set.

Travis's 'The Man Who' US Release
Travis' latest album, The Man Who, was released this past May in the UK. American fans will be slightly pleased to know that it will hit American shelves on April 11th, 2000 by Epic records, just shy of a full year. And to make sure that the hardcore fans who have already picked up the import buy the domestic version, Epic records have decided to add three bonus live tracks to the US version: "Driftwood", "Slide Show", and "More Then Us".
