Bonnaroo Takes on an Indie Twist
February 10, 2006
Normally, the lineup for the Bonnaroo Festival doesn't make me consider a road trip. Losely associated with a hippie scene and festival goers that are just as likely to attend Burning Man, the Tennessee festival has switched gears a bit this year. The headlining act is none other than The Best Band In The Worldâ,,¢ (aka Radiohead). Yeah, there's the somewhat typical Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, Rusted Root, Steve Earle, etc scheduled to perform but there's also the likes of Beck, The Magic Numbers, Ben Folds, Gomez, Cat Power, My Morning Jacket, Andrew Bird, Death Cab For Cutie, Elvis Costello and Bright Eyes. Maybe it's something to consider?
