I saw this link to Sunspot on Slashdot about how Universal and Sony are going to start offering you to purchase downloadable music (with the ability to burn the audio to CD) this summer. The prices are set around a buck for a song, and ten bucks for an entire album. I didn't think it was that bad at first until I found out that they aren't giving you an unrestricted high-quality MP3, instead they are selling you a Liquid Audio file. So if we're not using Windows, then we're screwed.
