SFA on DVD
Billboard has a story about how the next Super Furry Animals will be release on both CD and DVD. "Rings Around the World" is scheduled for July 23 and the DVD version will include six extra songs plus a short film for each of the eighteen tracks. They are currently looking for a US label to release the album.

RollingStone has a story about Paul Oakenfold remixing the theme for the upcoming remake of Planet of the Apes. He's been getting loads of offers after scoring the John Travolta film, Swordfish, but they are going to have to wait until after the summer. Oakenfold will be DJ'ing select dates on the Mekka tour and the Area One festival with Moby and New Order.

Mercury Rev Comes Through
Mercury Rev's set to release their fifth studio album, "All Is Dream" on August 27th. They will be previewing their new material in European shows throughout the summer, a US tour is expected to follow the release.
Kinks Cover Album in August
RollingStone has an article about a Kinks cover album and it's got a pretty decent lineup. Orbital release DVD Album
Orbital will release their latest album, The Altogether on a DVD and each track will have their own unique visuals. According to NME, "The DVD, which is recorded in surround sound, will have a series of menus, which allow users to, amongst other things, uncover hidden or alternate versions of tracks."

Radiohead Visit the Small Hick Moutain Town
Radiohead will be animated in an episode of South Park. It will air on July 11th and about a billion more times throughout the week, don't you just love cable! According to Allstar, "In the episode, the band helps Cartman seek revenge on a fellow student who dupes him in a pubic hair deal gone wrong. Don't ask.".
JJ72's Album Gets A US Release Date
JJ72's self-titled album will finally get a US release date of September 4th on Lakota/Columbia Records. It's been out since September 2000 in England and with a US release, there's a chance for a small tour as well. They are already booked for the CMJ New Music Festival in New York around mid-September.
Spiritualized Complete New Album
Spiritualized have finally completed their new record and it's set to be released on September 11th. It's titled, "Let It Come Down" and it's their first since 1997's "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space".
