Things got a little throw off track when more people than expected turned up (surprise!) at Rough Trade East for Radiohead's smallest gig in forever. So the popo had the band move find a slightly larger place and move the fun to 93 Feet East (name of the venue, not how far the gig was moved). Take the virtual tour of the room here to get appropriately, hysterically jealous, and then enjoy the entire show via this YouTube playlist which houses the band's radiohead.tv-webcasted, front-to-back retelling of In Rainbows (followed by an encore that had Thom solo on "Up On The Ladder" and the full band for "You And Whose Army?," "The National Anthem," "My Iron Lung," and "The Bends"). Funny, just last night one of us was listening to the Smiths in a bar when someone asked if Morrissey still unbuttoned his shirt during his lives shows. The answer ... "Of course." And here's the James Dean-approved live video to prove it. In addition to Moz's chest, you'll catch his fancy microphone (and tambourine) work, his hardworking backup band of waiters, and the flower-toting fans who love to jump on stage and hug the man briefly, even if it means getting wiped by security.  Source

Japanese post-rock combo Mono will release their first DVD January 22 on Temporary Residence. Titled The Sky Remains the Same as Ever, it's an almost two-hour chronicle of the recording of 2006's You Are There and the subsequent worldwide tours in support of the album. In terms of footage, this translates to a dozen live tunes amp;quot;and driving...lots and lots of driving,amp;quot; according to a press release. How Mono-tonous!  Source

A press release describes the hour-long movie, Extra Action (And Extra Hardcore), as the result of what happens when photographer/filmmaker Richard Kern tells his "unpretentious, unadorned, and definitely undressed 'real women' to "roll around and do something interesting for a few minutes." The DVD comes out March 18 via MVD, and in addition to Thurston's original score for Extra Action, it features previously unreleased Kern flicks as extras.  Source
