It was reported that Trent Reznor and Flood would be co-producing the new
solo album by Robert Smith, but Nothing Records has officially denied any such collaboration on Trent's behalf, stating that "while Trent is a fan of Robert Smith's, there has been no discussion between them." Trent is currently working on the live NIN album/DVD, and has just released a new single for the "Tomb Raider" soundtrack, entitled "Deep". It is now being reported that Smith's solo record has been put on hold until after the release of the Cure's next effort.
