Oasis Wants You!
Gonna be bored this weekend? Nothing to do? OASIS have an idea. On Saturday night, Oasis will be taking the stage for the second of their Wembley gigs. To commemorate the concert, the band is planning a documentary... and are wanting your help! A message on the band's official website is asking fans to grab camcorders and film themselves at the moment that Oasis takes to the stage. The press release explains, "What we want you to do is grab your camcorder and set it recording just before Oasis take the stage on Saturday night at around 8.30 London time, leave it going through the whole show and just do what you would do normally. Sing along, have a drink, snog your girl/boyfriend, play some air guitar, channel surf - whatever, just get it all on tape and we will let you know where to send them off to soon." Well, it's no fun if it's just for the Europeans, eh? So we're proposing that Stateside folks get in on the action as well. Let's prove to the Oasis camp that we're just as capable of being as stupid and irritating on home video as anybody. That said, here's a handy timetable as to when you need to start taping yourselves: LONDON - 8:30 p.m. Saturday NEW YORK - 3:30 p.m. Saturday (EST) CHICAGO - 2:30 p.m. Saturday (CST) LOS ANGELES - 12:30 p.m. Saturday (PST)
