New Band Of Horses Video - "No One's Gonna Love You"
No, we didn't think Cease To Begin was the greatest album of all time, but it definitely has plenty of beauty tucked in that underwhelming shell, including the first single "Is There A Ghost" and the lovely, sentimental, emotionally drenched, Chuck-beloved "No One's Gonna Love You." We think you're gonna love this Jarrod Tallman-directed video, too, which finds the guys on the road, armed with close friendships, fine dance moves, wet suits, beards, and, of course, an army of stunt bottles. - Source
Band of Horses Kick off Winter World Tour
From a town so small to a town so large to a town that is hopefully within galloping distance of yours, Band of Horses kick off their winter world tour Sunday night in their home base of Charleston, South Carolina. The boys will be joined on the American leg by well-coiffed crooner Cass McCombs, and by some guy named Sufjan February 13 when they take the stage at Carnegie Hall for the Tibet House benefit. That show also features Philip Glass, Nawang Khechog, Marisa Monte, Television's Tom Verlaine, and Ray Davies of the Kinks. Source

I am not sure when exactly I became "unhip". I used to think of myself as fairly "with it". In fact, the people that know me consider me a walking music encyclopedia. Along with that title comes the knowledge of the up and coming bands before anyone else does. So when did that ship sail, because apparently it has. This was apparent by not having a clue that Band of Horses was the band of the moment. I knew who they were. I had enjoyed their album, but I usually enjoy those types of bands. Give me a band that sounds like My Morning Jacket, Grandaddy, the Shins, etc and I am all over it. So why did I miss their tremendous ascension?
