I'm having more fun writing these summaries, I think I found my new format.  Now if I can only put this together quicker I might do it daily instead of sporatically.  Anyway, lots of links in this one, enjoy!

I made my way down to D.C. Monday night to catch this stop of the tour at the medium-sized but intimate 9:30 Club. Matt and Kim played an exuberant set to an adoring crowd, while Cut Copy ripped through a sugar-rush of selections from their two albums and urged the audience to dance even harder. - Source

Two of Modular's finest, Cut Copy and The Presets, announced a joint-headline tour this morning. The trek will take both bands across North America this September and October, with each group supporting a recent release - Source

Two bands riding high on recent Best New Music-inducted releases, Cut Copy and Black Kids, just started taking the continent by storm on a joint tour. Last night found the hook-happy pairing at Portland's Doug Fir Lounge, with Cut Copy showing off their Ghost Colours and Black Kids inviting many ooohs and Ahhhs. - Source

You know how sometimes I get too brutally honest for these ol' reviews I write? Let's talk about solar powered pipes for a moment. They are fancy, sleek silver, and I was introduced to one at Saturday's Simian Mobile Disco/Cut Copy show. After all, it was Earth Week - Source

The trio not only has a run of dates currently in progress warming up European crowds for Editors, but will follow that with a trek opening up for Black Kids and Cut Copy on their forthcoming North American tour. Mobius Band will even find a little room in their overstuffed Rolodex for the DFA's Tim Goldsworthy and Tim Sweeney, who'll join the ace openers in New York May 14.
